WHY TEAM COACHING WHY NOW
The workplace has fundamentally changed.

Organizations are no longer structured around individuals. Their most complex, highest-stakes work is done in teams—and coaches who can operate at that level are in significant demand. Team coaching is one of the fastest-growing specializations in the coaching profession, and ICF's Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC) now formally recognizes it as a distinct discipline requiring distinct expertise.

Organizations are asking coaches to:

  • Work with entire teams—not just individuals or top leaders
  • Navigate real-time group dynamics, decision-making, and conflict
  • Improve collaboration, alignment, and measurable team performance
  • Design and demonstrate outcomes—not just facilitate conversations

If you're being asked to do more than 1:1 coaching, or you want to access larger organizational engagements, this is your next step.

WHAT MAKES COACHRICE DIFFERENT
Our program is built on a foundation you trust.

Built on Rice University Excellence
Grounded in the research rigor and high standards of Rice University's Doerr Institute for New Leaders. More than a standalone training series, this is a comprehensive university-quality professional education experience.

Depth Where Others Stop
The curriculum goes beyond standard ACTC frameworks to include the science of team performance, Bion's Basic Assumptions in team dynamics, Bowen Systems Theory applied to teams, and schema-informed approaches to group behavior—frameworks you won't find in competing programs.

Outcome Measurement Architecture
You won't just facilitate team conversations—you'll design pre/post measurement frameworks, select validated instruments, and document change. Every engagement you run after this program will be evidence-based.

Live Supervision
7.5 hours of group supervision are embedded in the program—exceeding the ICF minimum of 5 hours — so your skills are developed with experienced support, not in isolation. You receive feedback on real coaching practice, not just role-plays.

ACTC Pathway
Your hours count. CoachRice for Teams is ICF AATC-accredited. The curriculum maps directly to all 8 ICF Team Coaching Competencies, and the program is structured to support your ACTC credential application.

Led by an MCC and ACTC Facilitator
Your lead instructor, Daniela Aneva, holds both the ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC) and Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC), with training under David Clutterbuck and Peter Hawkins at practitioner level, and 20+ years of organizational leadership experience including global talent roles at companies such as Amazon, Google, and Walmart.
