What are Leadership Cohorts?
Cultivate your leader identity and develop an elevated sense of purpose with this intensive year-long leader development experience. Through this program, students participate in a variety of Doerr Institute programs and have exclusive access to tailored offerings and experts.
Leadership Cohorts include:
- Synthesis: One semester of group learning on a topic determined by cohort theme.
- Activation: Access to three one-on-one coaching conversations
- Two Catalyst modules: Topics to be determined by cohort theme
New to Doerr?
If you are a first-year student at Rice, please check out the Leading as a First Year Cohort.
All other students must have completed a semester of Activation before qualifying for this program.
Already taken Doerr programs?
This is the perfect fit for students who have participated in Doerr programs and are ready to take their skills to the next level.
2025-2026 Applications are Closed.
Cohort applications open at the beginning of every fall semester for the upcoming school year. 2026-2027 applications will open in Summer 2026.
