Catalyst: Creating Psychological Safety

Focus on a single leadership skill and connect with fellow leaders

Creating Psychological Safety

Mental wellness is crucial, especially when it comes to team dynamics.

Psychological safety is the shared belief held by members of a team that the team is safe for interpersonal risk taking.* Fostering this kind of safe environment requires a leader with specific attitudes, beliefs, and skills.

In this module participants will:

  • Reflect on their own beliefs about failure
  • Learn a three-part model fostering a team culture that embodies a growth mindset
  • Explore how to create a team environment that promotes innovation and risk taking
