Kelley Prust started her career in marketing and communications writing show synopses for NBC's ‘Must See TV’ while attending the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. With those short and sweet blurbs about Friends, Frasier, and Will & Grace, her career telling stories was born. For the next twenty years, she wrote heaps of marketing copy for traditional and digital media, from the story behind the best gluten-free cupcakes at Whole Foods Market to how researchers at The University of Arizona found water on Mars. She began her career in higher education as the Director of Marketing and Interactive Media for the alumni/donor market at The University of Arizona.
Prior to joining the team at the Doerr Institute for New Leaders, Kelley ran her own company that presented virtual career workshops to college women—speaking to 2,000+ women at universities across the country.
Kelley loves creating stories and is excited to tell the Doerr Institute’s story to the world.
