Jessica serves as the Digital Communications and Marketing Specialist for the Doerr Institute for New Leaders. She will be working on establishing, monitoring, and maintaining the digital presence for the Doerr Institute. This position will provide her with a platform to bring awareness around various leader development opportunities and resources for both Rice students and leader developers alike. Prior to joining, Jessica worked as a Health Communication Coordinator at CommunicateHealth, where she used the latest trends in digital communications to develop health information that’s easy to understand and apply. In addition to the health communications industry, she has also engaged in the higher education, healthcare, and the political sectors of work.

Jessica graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.A. in Communication and received her M.A. in Health Communication and Public and Media Relations from Johns Hopkins University. During her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling to new destinations, and supporting local restaurants and cafes.
