Sarah Sullivan Gurguis is the Assistant Director of Training and Development at the Doerr Institute. Sarah oversees the planning and implementation of professional coaching and leader development initiatives at Rice University and beyond, including administering a pool of certified coaches who are coaching and facilitating leader development programming for Rice students, faculty, staff, as well as external adult learners.

Before joining the team at the Doerr Institute, she worked for two years as a career counselor at the University of Tulsa. Sarah also interned in the Global Talent Management division at Corporate Walmart and was a psychological counselor at Lone Star College.
